Privacy policy
DebtStacking is built so we know as little about you as possible. There are no accounts, no logins, and no database of users. This page describes everything the site does with data, in plain English.
Your debts stay in your browser
The debts you enter, your chosen method, your extra payment, and your progress baseline are stored in your browser's local storage on your device. They are never uploaded, and we can't see them. “Start over” deletes them, and so does clearing your browser data. If your browser blocks storage, the calculator still works for the session — nothing is saved anywhere.
If you email yourself a plan
“Email me my plan” is the one feature that sends data off your device, and it only happens when you press the button. Your email address and a summary of your plan are sent to Resend, the email delivery service we use, to deliver that one message. If you also tick the updates box, your email address (and nothing else) is kept on our list at Resend so we can write occasionally; every email includes a way out. If you leave the box unticked, nothing is kept.
Anonymous usage counts
We use Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless analytics service, to count page views and two events: a plan was created, a plan was emailed. No cookies, no cross-site tracking, no personal data, and nothing about your debts — just counts that tell us whether the site is useful.
No ads, no selling data
There is no advertising on DebtStacking, and we do not sell or share data with anyone. There is no data to sell.
